Introduction

Offset Britain is committed to the highest standards of openness, integrity, and accountability. We encourage employees and others with serious concerns about any aspect of our work to come forward and voice those concerns without fear of reprisal.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, officers, consultants, contractors, volunteers, and agency workers. It also applies to suppliers, contractors, and anyone else who becomes aware of wrongdoing within our organisation.

What Can Be Reported

You may report concerns about:

• Criminal offences or fraud

• Failure to comply with legal obligations

• Miscarriages of justice

• Danger to health and safety

• Damage to the environment

• Bribery or corruption

• Financial misconduct

• Deliberate concealment of any of the above

How to Raise a Concern

In the first instance, raise your concern with your line manager. If you feel unable to do this, contact:

• The Managing Director

• Email: whistleblowing@offsetbritain.co.uk

• Write to: Whistleblowing Officer, Offset Britain Ltd

Protection for Whistleblowers

We will not tolerate any harassment or victimisation of whistleblowers. Anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith will be protected from detrimental treatment, even if the concern turns out to be unfounded.

Investigation Process

All concerns will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately. We will acknowledge receipt of your concern within 5 working days and keep you informed of progress. The investigation will be conducted confidentially and you will be informed of the outcome where possible.

External Reporting

If you feel unable to raise your concern internally, you may contact the relevant regulatory body or a prescribed person such as HMRC, the Financial Conduct Authority, or the Environment Agency.
