Each certificate is assigned a unique verification ID (format: OB-XX-YYYY-XXXXXX) that can be checked through our public verification system at any time. This transparency is at the heart of what we do.

Public verification

Every certificate issued by Offset Britain includes a unique, publicly verifiable ID. This means certificate holders, regulators, and the general public can verify that:

• The certificate exists and is authentic
• The carbon credits have been sourced from verified projects
• The credits have been permanently retired
• The project meets international standards

This transparency is fundamental to our approach and differentiates us from unverified offset schemes.
