About this product
Built for small producers under UK Extended Producer Responsibility. You qualify as a small producer if either: (a) your UK turnover is between £1M and £2M and you place more than 25 tonnes of packaging on the UK market per calendar year, or (b) your UK turnover is more than £2M and you place between 25 and 50 tonnes per year.
Small producers have lighter obligations than large producers: data submission once a year (rather than twice), basic recyclability classification by material, and a Plastic Packaging Tax liability check. Modulated fees do not currently apply at the small-producer tier.
Offset Britain is not a registered compliance scheme. The business signs and submits each report through their own Defra portal account. We do all the preparation, modelling and review, and walk you through the actual portal submission step by step on your first cycle.

Standards we work to
All Offset Britain compliance documents are built to ISO 14064-1 organisational greenhouse gas accounting standard, follow the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, and apply Defra 2025 Greenhouse Gas Conversion Factors. Methodology packs are included so any independent auditor can reconstruct every calculation.
Carbon Reduction Plans are formatted to PPN 006 (formerly PPN 06/21) and accepted by UK Government, NHS Evergreen, MOD JOSCAR and Common Assessment Standard frameworks. EPR documents are aligned to Defra requirements with full RAM (Recyclability Assessment Methodology) classification.
